I am Nathan Raymond, IT professional and enthusiast photographer.  I currently reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a large diverse state I am still exploring since I moved from Oregon in 2014.  I have been shooting seriously since 2008 when I became a photographer for Oregon State University's Beaver Yearbook.  During my time with the publication, I rose to the rank of Photo Editor and had the opportunity to shoot six seasons of PAC-12 sports, countless University events, an OK GO concert, and even celebrities like John Oliver.

I am drawn to photography by the art and science of it.  I like to consider myself an academic of the field as much as an artist, and enjoy reading blogs and websites on photography as well as the books of professionals.
