Recently, I went to Seattle for work training. As it turns out, early May ended up being the best possible weather I've experienced in the Pacific Northwest and I had an absolute blast. My buddy Trevor played tour guide and showed me around some very cool places around Seattle and nearby Washington. Being from Oregon I very much missed the PNW but had never really been to Seattle. I hiked in Mt Rainier, walked the Seattle waterfront, meandered through nearby forests and sloughs, stood agog at the sight of a Lenin statue in the middle of the Fremont district, and got to see a real waterfall (New Mexico standards aren't the same). I definitely hope to be able to make my way up to Washington again sometime soon.
