Landscape | Tent Rocks

My friend Jordan came through Albuquerque on a move from Texas and I managed to get him to stick around for a couple days.  During that time I drove him up to Tent Rocks, one of my favorite places I've found so far in my time in New Mexico.   As usual it was an awesome place to visit, but we got their a little later than I would have liked, the difference can be seen in the photo below.  On the way back to Albuquerque we got to see Vice President Biden's motorcade heading on I-25 south to a New Mexico DNC meeting.

I've been watching a photography class where the guy explains why to shoot the same place multiple times. The light can be different, you can see different things, etc. I realized I took the same shot both times at Tent Rocks but the pictures are quite different.
