Today was the first time I was truly grateful for crowd management staff and also the day I pitied them most. OK Go headlined MUPC's Flat Tail Festival and a couple thousand college kids amped up for a free concert with no admission screening showed up. I got the joy of being among twenty or so people in front of the barrier making it pretty well feel like a private concert just for me. Crowd management meanwhile was busy bumping highly intoxicated kids who crowd surfed over the barrier.
I love VIP access.
